Sisco Aparici

Born in Aielo of Malferit (Valencia), studied at differente conservatories, Olleria, Ontinyent, Zaragoza, Valencia, Castellón, Barcelona, Porto and Stockholm, obtaining the highest marks.
His career as a professional percussionist is based especially on the facet of soloist dedicated to contemporary music and the latest avant-garde. Performing various concerts in major halls of Europe, and South America.
His experience also in contemporary music has led him to perform with ensembles such as Ensemble Remix (Portugal), Drumming group percussao (Portugal), Smash Ensemble (Spain), Espai Sonor Ensemble (Spain), Narciso Duo (Spain-Switzerland ), NEXEnsemble (Spain), Equilater Ensemble (Spain), Bcn 216, Grup Instrumental de Valencia ...
Has given masterclass in different conservatories of Europe and founded the International Academy TDM-NEXEnsemble, Permanent academy NEXEnsemble, and the creation of NEXEnsemble percussion group: a group formed by the academy students, mixed with various professional percussionists, premiering in Spain "LE NOIR DE L'ETOILE" by Gerard Grisey, and "HAR EL MARMOLISTA" by Martin Matalon. Recently prepares "STEEL WAVE," a show of steeldrums and eclectic music.
Associate Professor at the Conservatory of Mallorca, and the Conservatory of Navarra.

Being one of the few Spanish percussionists maintaining a high level of concert activity that has led him to have a repertoire of over 200 works.
His upcoming projects include the recording of a CD of works dedicated to him, with Spanish composers like Hector Parra, Voro Garcia, Enrique Sanz Burguete..., 2 CDs with the ensemble Espai Sonor (monographic Cd’s by Voro Garcia and Aureliano Cattaneo).
He currently performs with trio DE MAGIA, SMASH ensemble, ensemble Sonor Espai, NEXEnsemble, and has recitals and masterclasses given at conservatories throughout Europe.
Currently artistic director of NEXEnsemble, the Permanent NEXEnsemble and of the International Academy TDM-NEXEnsemble.
