Born in Kyoto, Japan, she studied composition in France, first at the Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris with Yoshihisa Taïra, then at the Conservatoire de Paris (CNSMDP) in the class of Paul Mefano and Frédéric Durieux. She also followed the course of new technologies applied to composition, as well as analysis, orchestration, and musical acoustics. She received the scholarship of various foundations, such as Meyer Foundation, and Fonds de Tarrazi. She has worked with musicians from Ensemble Intercontemporain, Multilatérale ensemble, Smash Ensemble (Spain). Influenced by many genres of music, contemporary art, and dance, she collaborated with Richard Siegal, founder and choreographer of the Bakery, for the multidisciplinary project If/Then. She is finalist in Métamorphoses 2006 competition, fellow of the Casa de Velázquez 2010, winner of Hors les Murs 2011 Culturesfrance. She also receives a grant of Kone Foundation (Finland) as composer in residence.
